Film Français French Convention / 2015 & 2016

Nearly 500 industry professionals came together at mk2 Bibliothèque for the second annual event, which is unmissable for cinema operators. Seven distributors revealed their line-up and exclusive clips, if not full screenings, of their biggest films.


The PSG 300 supporters’ club met in the Germain Paradisio venue to enjoy a classic League 1 match with shouts, screams and singalongs. Coca-Cola was in on the game and took the opportunity to decorate the venue, provide the entertainment and lubricate the fans!

Ice Age 5 preview with Oasis / JULY 2016

To coincide with a preview showing of Ice Age: Collision Course organized by Oasis at mk2 Bibliothèque, Ramon Tafraise had some surprises in store for the kids and the grownups! The highlights included an ice sculpture, photo call with Fruit Family and ice-creams & goodies handed out by astronauts dressed up as the character Sid.

Le Mans Classic drive-in / 2014 & 2016 editions

mk2 Agency shared the driving seat for the seventh and eight editions of Le Mans Classic, the legendary classic car race brought to the 24 Hours of Le Mans track by Peter Auto. To mark the event, film buffs and petrol heads came together to recreate the authentic American drive-in experience: big open-air screen, audience seated in 1960s Ford Mustangs, vintage or modern Fiats and some classic movies.

Adults and Children were happy to line up in front of the ice cream truck for about hour to taste and enjoy some of the famous famous ice creams offered by the Vermont company!

Jean Imbert Cinema Club / 2016 EDITION

Kenzo x Sean Baker / February 2016

For its 2016 spring–summer collection, Kenzo asked Sean Baker to shoot a short film. It features the model Abbey Lee in a bohemian, retro-inspired wonder world, where she meets some unusual characters — all quintessentially Kenzo. The six-minute film was screened in all our cinemas over two weeks. The exclusive (excluding digital media) confirmed Kenzo’s ambition to join the film industry.

Cinema Paradiso / 2013 & 2015 editions

Cinema Paradiso headed to the Grand Palais for the first two editions of the world’s biggest film, food and fiesta extravaganza. In June 2013 and 2015, 160,000 visitors were treated to some unbeatable experiences: dozens of screenings of cult films, incredible street food under the glass roof and clubbing nights with top international DJs. Ai Weiwei x Le Bon Marché / JANUARY 2016

This was an event staged to mark the artist’s landmark exhibition (ERXI) hosted by Le Bon Marché: masterclass with Ai Weiwei followed by a screening of the documentary exploring his life and work, Never Sorry.

Launch of the Metal Gear Rising game / Konami / APRIL 2014

To mark the launch of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, its producer Konami brought the videogame’s designers Hideo Kojima & Yogi Shinkawa to mk2 Grand Palais. The press was invited to discover the game’s concept, format and characters.
